Hello
My name is Tina, and I have a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Beyond my education, I have worked with people from different cultures, ages, and backgrounds. I have worked with adults in homeless shelters experiencing difficult life transitions and those struggling with addictions.
I also currently work with youth who have behavioral issues in a mental health rehabilitation center. My work has allowed me to meet people with diverse experiences.
My Story
Raised in a family of five, anxiety, confusion and anger are not new to me. I also started out like you and had continuous questions about life, myself, work and many other things. Through my life, I have learned many ways to tackle these questions one by one. And the most important lesson is that you don’t have to do this alone. I am here to work with you so we can figure out the questions in your head. I am here to work with you so we can take that anxiety, that confusion, that anger and build the tools to manage them better.

Based on my experiences and education, I have garnered an empathetic perception of the uniqueness of each individual’s life struggles. With several years’ of working in the social services field, I believe that you are the expert of your own life and my role as your therapist is to serve as a guide as you work towards your goals.
